【Press Release】Union Kitchen and Wildcard Incubator to Collaborate to Support Food Businesses Across the U.S. and Japan-APAC
June 5, 2024: Wildcard Incubator LLC (“Wildcard Incubator” hereinafter), a Tokyo-based corporate-startup business accelerator focused in agrifood, environmental solutions and wellness, and Union Kitchen, a Washington D.C.-based food and beverage business Accelerator, agreed to work and collaborate together across the U.S. and Japan that will be intended to primarily support Japanese food and relevant startups entering the U.S. market, and also supporting Union Kitchen’s affiliated startups expanding into Japan and other Asia-Pacific economic regions.
Through this agreement, Wildcard Incubator will identify and select food startups and food manufacturing businesses from Japan aiming to enter the U.S. market, and Union Kitchen will assist these selected businesses through its food accelerator platform. Wildcard Incubator will also support food business cohorts under Union Kitchen’s accelerator program for its potential Japan market entry and partnerships.
Founded in 2012, Union Kitchen is a food and beverage business Accelerator with intensive track record in building successful food businesses by empowering food founders with its ecosystem, roadmap, and expertise from launch to scale. Union Kitchen works alongside food founders with testing out new concepts, update old ones, and manufacture its own unique products from start to finish in its 17,000 sq. ft. production facility. Wildcard Incubator, founded in 2011, is a corporate-startup business accelerator based in Tokyo, JAPAN and in Silicon Valley, with extensions in EU and South East Asia.
